The new generation of C1 should appear in 2012, while the poor image of the model show how the most likely future looks C1.
According to a publication in the magazine Autocar, the pictures are taken with mobile phone and show that Citroën is planning quite a novelty for the new pokozhlenie C1. However, C1 retains some elements of today's car.
The new C1 has become slightly larger and will take part of the area previously belonged to the C2. The length of the new generation of C1 will be about 150 mm greater and reach to 3600 mm and will be aligned with the model Renault Twingo, considered by PSA Peugeot Citroën as chief competitor.
As before, the group will include a mini model of Peugeot, which will be designated as 108. Both models will be made together sToyota Aygo in the Czech town of Kolin, which is now produced the first generation of "triplets". The differences between the three models will be mainly in the front and rear, while the side panels of the bodywork will be common, which will help lower cost of development.
According to head of production of PSA, Besson Vincent (Vincent Besson), Citroën will be the brand that risk and going into more controversial areas in stylistic terms, while Peugeot will remain a more conservative brand.
