Ducati Dominance! World Superbike belongs to Ducati

It was only a matter of time.  Ducati Universe would grow and expand, consuming everything in its path.

Including, apparently, World Superbike.

Yep.  Just in case you missed the memo, Ducati owns World Superbike.

Not only did Carlos Checa and his Team Althea Racing Ducati 1198 take the 2011 World Superbike Championship, but the rider and Ducati  1198 dominated the series, claiming six pole positions, 14 race victories, and 20 trips to the podium.

The last race in Portimao has yet to run. But with a 107-point lead, who cares?  Checa and Team Althea Racing Ducati cannot lose. The title is theirs.

Oh, and did I mention Ducati also took the World Superstock title and the Superbike and Superstock Manufacturers' mantles?  Count 'em.  Weep if you're not Ducati.  That's four titles.  Four.

Be a part of the celebration and a bit of Ducati history - that was Ducati's 17th World Superbike Manufacturer's title - and treat yourself to a very special, rather limited, 2011 Ducati World Championship t-shirt.

The 2011 World Superbike Champion t-shirt; now available at  Pure-Ducati.com.

It is, after all, a Ducati Universe.  We just get to enjoy it.

Cheers!
